MicroDermAbrasion
Services Available The process of microdermabrasion is used to decrease very fine wrinkles, abnormal pigmentation of the face and improve the effectiveness of skin-care products.
The treatment consists of placing the skin under slight tension and then moving a hand piece which blows crystals under pressure onto the skin. This procedure removes the most superficial layer of the skin. The desired result is a smoother skin with a decrease in the "blemishes" caused by aging and the sun. Microdermabrasion allows skin care products to penetrate more deeply into the skin, greatly increasing their effectiveness.
The treatment affects only the superficial skin and therefore will not change the deeper dynamic and static wrinkles and the deeper pigmented areas. Microdermabrasion may be used alone or in conjuction with procedures such as Laser, IPL, and Botox that treat the deeper structures.
MicroDermAbrasion is a painless procedure and causes only a mild redness of the skin.

A course of microdermabrasions combined with physician-strength skin care products is a convenient and inexpensive way to get started on improving appearance or maintaining skin health.
